Hammerhead's Introduction
Welcome to the Hammerhead Divers Scuba Diving Website. We are a mixed military and civilian sports dive club based in Bordon Hampshire.
We are open to all members of both the local military and civilian diving community.
We welcome all our members alike whether they are scuba diving connoisseurs or simply beginners interested in learning to Scuba.
We are a predominately British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC) although we do have qualified divers from other agencies (i.e PADI). We instruct using the BSAC syllabus and with our volunteer instructors can teach Novice divers all the way up to Instructor level and beyond. We are also afiliated to the Army Sub-Aqua Diving Association (ASADA) which provides even more benefits and opportunities.
We are a very active club with a full compliment of equipment for members' use.
We generally do our open water training in the numerous quarries dotted around the South of England. These lend themselves well to training as facilities such as showers, compressor filling stations and food outlets are conveniently located on site. We also conduct off shore dives weather permitting and often dive the awesome wrecks of the Portsmouth and Plymouth areas. Please visit our Club Trips page to see what's coming up.
